CANFIELD -- Mill Creek MetroParks has received an Ohio Parks and Recreation Association's Award of Distinction for the development of the MetroParks Bikeway's Kirk Road trailhead in Austintown. It was presented earlier this month. The $356,500 trailhead was dedicated in August and includes two historic stone buildings that were restored, restrooms, benches, water fountains and a 50-car parking lot.
Trustees to reject bids
Beaver Township trustees will have a special meeting at 7:30 a.m. Wednesday at the administration office to reject bids for the Woodworth Community Park pavilion rehabilitation project.
