SWIMMING
Indiana, Pa. -- Slippery Rock's Jen Zuzack zipped through the water in 24.47 seconds to win the 50-yard freestyle individual title at the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference Championships.
The sophomore from Greater Latrobe High School is believed to be the first Rock woman swimmer to claim a PSAC individual title since 1982, when Kristin Legere won the 200 breaststroke.
Zuzack trimmed 16/100ths of a second off her prelim time of 27.63, a mark recorded earlier Thursday. She also swam the lead leg of the 400 medley relay, which placed sixth, and the anchored leg of the 200 free relay, which finished seventh.

Cieleski's win was one of three. Freshman 125-pounder Ben Watson of Kettering (O.) Fairmont High, got the night started off right as he registered an 11-6 decision in the opening match. Jason Cardillo, also a freshman from South Fayette High, notched a 4-3 decision in the 165-pound class.
