Admission to all events is free. Location is Ford Theater (Bliss Hall, first floor) unless otherwise noted.
March 1: Live recording for submission to National Public Radio's "Performance Today," featuring Dana Symphonic Wind Ensemble and Caroline Oltmanns, 8 p.m.
March 2: Recital by student Cristin Vimmerstedt, 8 p.m., Ford Theater.
March 3: "New Music for the Piano" with host Till MacIvor Meyn, noon, Butler Institute of American Art; recital by student Jaime Lewis, 8 p.m.
March 4: Master class by Caroline Oltmanns with select high school students, 5-6 p.m., Ford Theater; guest artist Ireneus Zuk of Queens College, 8 p.m.
March 5: Piano Convocation, 11 a.m.; master class by Ireneus Zuk, 2 p.m.; YSU Jazz Faculty concert, featuring saxophonist Kent Engelhardt, percussionist Glenn Schaft, pianist Alton Merrell and bassist Dave Morgan, 8 p.m.
