Officials say computer is likely cause of blaze

BROOKFIELD -- An electrical problem with a computer is the likely cause of a Friday evening fire that heavily damaged a trailer in the Brookfield Acres Trailer Park, the fire department said. Damage was estimated at $20,000 to the trailer and $10,000 to its contents in the 6:38 p.m. blaze in the home of Donald Shaw at 1040 S. Park Drive. Nobody was home when a passer-by on state Route 82 called 911 to report the fire, and there were no injuries.
