Italian Heritage Foundation elects slate of officers

YOUNGSTOWN -- Rose Degise was elected president of the Italian Heritage Foundation board of trustees during a meeting Feb. 6 at the Degise home on Mellinger Road.
Other officers are Flora DiRenzo Schneider, vice president; Thomas DiBernardi, treasurer; and Mary Sinesio, secretary.
Officers appointed for the Greater Youngstown Italian Fest 2004 are Michael Pinciaro, chairman; Mary Sinesio, treasurer; and Evanna Neopolitan Nagy, secretary. The event, with the theme "From Italy, With Love," will take place July 16-18 at the Canfield Fairgrounds.
The next trustee meeting is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. March 1 at the Degise home. The general membership committee meeting will be 7 p.m. March 8 at the Italian-American Veterans Centre, Meridian Road.
