Ebenezer Church of God in Christ, 566 W. Indianola Ave., Youngstown, will have its 48th Annual Georgiana Lynch Memorial "Calendar Tea" from 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday. The theme is, "A Reason ... For Each Season." The speaker will be missionary Sherry Adams Robinson.
Western Reserve Baptist Church, 8590 Hitchcock Road, Boardman, will sponsor a community luncheon featuring beef noodle soup, applesauce and dessert at noon Thursday. Donations will be taken.

Lutheran youths will participate in a 30-hour fast to raise money and awareness of World Hunger Friday and Saturday at Good Hope Lutheran Church, 98 Homestead Drive, Boardman. Participants will learn about poverty and hunger issues and will participate in service projects.
