Duke ends two-game skid, beating Maryland, 86-63

DURHAM, N.C. -- J.J. Redick scored 20 points and No. 3 Duke ended its two-game losing streak with an 86-63 victory over Maryland on Sunday.
Shelden Williams had 18 points and 11 rebounds for the Blue Devils (22-3, 11-2 Atlantic Coast Conference), who avoided their first three-game losing streak in eight seasons. Duke has won 40 straight games at Cameron Indoor Stadium.
John Gilchrist scored 14 points for the Terrapins (13-10, 4-8), who lost their third straight.
Duke went on a 21-5 run in the first half and used a 10-0 run spanning halftime to push the lead to 22 points. Duke held Maryland to 37 percent shooting, and scored 31 points off 23 turnovers. The Blue Devils had 16 steals and blocked five shots.
Michigan 71, No. 12 Wisconsin 59
ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- Lester Abram had 17 points and Courtney Sims added 14 in the Wolverines' first win over a ranked team this season.
Devin Harris had 18 points on 5-for-20 shooting for the Badgers (17-6, 8-4 Big Ten), who lost consecutive games for the first time in 13 months, when they also lost on the road to Michigan and Illinois.
Michigan (15-8, 6-6 Big Ten) trailed by six points when it took control of the game by closing the first half with a 22-8 run.

RALEIGH, N.C. -- Marcus Melvin scored 16 points and Scooter Sherrill added 13 for the Wolfpack, who overcame an eight-point second-half deficit to improve to 14-0 at home this season.
Ilian Evtimov added 12 points for the Wolfpack (17-6) in the first-ever meeting between the schools.
Bobby Jones scored 22 points for Washington (13-10), which has lost 24 straight games on the road against ranked teams.
Washington's Brandon Roy missed a jumper with 19 seconds remaining and the score tied. Melvin and Cameron Bennerman each made two free throws to provide the final margin for N.C. State.

ATLANTA -- Justin Gray scored 26 points and Wake Forest beat a ranked team for the third straight game.
The Demon Deacons (17-6, 7-5 ACC) stunned the Yellow Jackets (19-7, 6-6) with an early 16-0 run, then withstood a furious comeback that tied the score at 71 with 3 1/2 minutes remaining. But Wake Forest's Eric Williams hit two key baskets inside, and Chris Paul scored the clinching basket with 12 seconds remaining.
Georgia Tech's B.J. Elder picked up two quick fouls and had one point in the first half but finished with 27.
