COLUMBUS -- LaToya Turner scored 13 points and Jessica Davenport added 12 points and six blocks to lead Ohio State. The Buckeyes (16-8, 8-5 Big Ten) made 13-of-21 shots in the first half (61.9 percent) to build a 33-21 lead at the break. Michelle Zylstra scored 19 points for Northwestern (8-17, 1-13), which shot only 34 percent for the game.
No. 7 Penn St. 66, Wisconsin 50
STATE COLLEGE, Pa. -- Jess Brungo scored 19 points, and Penn State (20-4, 12-1 Big Ten) withstood a late run by Wisconsin. Jordan Wilson scored twice to start a 14-0 run by the Badgers (8-15, 2-11) and Ashley Josephson's 3-pointer brought Wisconsin to 60-50 with 2:40 remaining. But Jess Strom went 6-for-6 from the line in the last 1:02 to preserve the win. Tanisha Wright added 17 points for Penn State. Emily Ashbaugh led Wisconsin with 14 points.

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. -- Shanna Zolman scored 23 points and Shyra Ely and Tasha Butts added 18 apiece, and a 14-0 run helped Tennessee (22-2, 11-0 Southeastern Conference) hold off Florida (16-8, 6-5). Vanessa Hayden led Florida with 19 points, and Tashia Morehead and Sarah Lowe added 18 apiece.

DURHAM, N.C. -- Alana Beard scored 27 points to help Duke clinch the top seed in the Atlantic Coast Conference tournament. Iciss Tillis and freshman Allison Bales had 11 points each for Duke (21-3, 12-1). Anna Prillman and Brandi Teamer had 10 each for Virginia (12-13, 5-8).

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. -- Shereka Wright scored 18 points, and Purdue parlayed an 11-0 run to start the second half into an easy victory. Katie Gearlds added 11 points and Emily Heikes had 12 rebounds for the Boilermakers (22-2, 12-1 Big Ten), who won their 13th game in a row. Illinois (10-14, 4-9) was led by Tiffanie Guthrie with 16 points.

STANFORD, Calif. -- Nicole Powell had 18 points and 10 rebounds to help Stanford maintain its hold on first place in the Pac-10. Azella Perryman added 17 points as the Cardinal (19-5, 12-3) won its 27th consecutive conference game at home. Kelley Suminski added 16 points. Meghan Gnekow scored 15 points for USC (14-10, 11-5).
Iowa 81, No. 11 Minnesota 61
IOWA CITY, Iowa -- Kristi Faulkner scored 22 points and Jennie Lillis had 16 points, nine rebounds and three blocks for Iowa (15-9, 9-4 Big Ten). Jamie Cavey added 15 points for the Hawkeyes. Janel McCarville led Minnesota (19-5, 8-5) with 12 points.
Vanderbilt 61, No. 15 LSU 55
BATON ROUGE, La. -- Carla Thomas recorded her ninth double-double of the season with 22 points and 11 rebounds to lead Vanderbilt (17-7, 5-6 SEC). LSU (20-5, 8-3), which had won 13 straight home games, was led by Seimone Augustus with 18 points.

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. -- Ivory Latta had 13 points to lead five players in double figures for North Carolina (19-5, 9-4 ACC). Camille Little, Nikita Bell and Candace Sutton added 12 points each, and La'Tangela Atkinson 10 for the Tar Heels. Devona Oliver scored 14 points and Vicki Brick added 11 for the Terrapins (15-10, 7-7).

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. -- Lindsey Arndt had 12 points and 12 rebounds, and Abbie Letz's late 3-pointer helped New Mexico (15-7, 7-2 Mountain West) beat Utah (19-5, 9-1). Kim Smith had with 13 points and 11 rebounds for the Utes.
