Scouting report: The Penguins snapped a three-game losing streak with an impressive 85-84 win over Horizon League leading UW-Milwaukee at Beeghly Center. This is the first game of a three-game road trip for the Penguins. Junior guard Doug Underwood scored 26 points in the game against the Panthers and became the 29th YSU player to reach the 1000th point in career scoring. Underwood has 1,009 on his career. Wright State snapped a two-game losing streak on Saturday with a 66-64 non-conference win over IPFW. The Raiders had dropped league games to UW-Milwaukee 72-66 and Detroit 74-60 prior to beating IPFW.
Series: This is 27th meeting between the two teams and the Raiders hold a commanding 20-6 advantage. Wright State has won the last two meetings including this year's conference opener on Dec. 18 in Youngstown, 69-59.
