Wertz jubilee is celebrated during dinner

XAUSTINTOWN -- Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth S. Wertz, 362 DeHoff Drive, were guests of honor during a dinner Feb. 21 at Austin Manor for the occasion of their 50th wedding anniversary.
Hosting the event were the honorees' children and spouses, Ken Jr. and Cindy Wertz of Lisbon; Keith and Bonnie Wertz of Annapolis, Md.; Kirk Wertz of Campbell; Dottie and Dave Deeds of Strongsville; Wendie and Gary Wakeford of Canfield; Michele and Jerome Jones and Jake Wertz, all of Youngstown; and Aloise Wertz of Austintown.
The former Sarah Wile and Mr. Wertz were married Feb. 13, 1954, at Cornersburg United Methodist Church, Youngstown.
Mrs. Wertz was a prep cook at Perkins Family Restaurant in Youngstown before retiring in 2001.
Now retired, Mr. Wertz worked in maintenance at United Foundries in Youngstown. He retired in 2000.
The family circle includes 10 grandchildren.
