DANIEL E. POLIVKA*
Age: 41
Home: 160 Country Club Drive S.E., Warren.
Employment: Polivka Surface Engineering, 1983-2004. Trumbull County commissioner since January. Fifth Ward Warren councilman, 1983-87, council at-large 1988-2004.
Education: Howland High School.
Family: Wife, JoAnn, children Jared and Danielle.
Priorities: To restore accountability to the commissioners office and work on plans for economic development, the convention and visitors bureau, police protection for the northern part of county and to work to improve the airport and keep the air base.
DONALD J. BARZAK
Age: 37
Home: 5799 Warner Road, Kinsman.
Employment: CEO, The Barzak Agency, 1995-present. Johnston Township trustee, 1990-present. Associate branch manager for MetLife, 1988-95.
Education: Maplewood High School, degree in business from Kent State University.
Family: Wife, Darlene, children Justin and Jenna.
Priorities: To restore accountability and credibility through proper management practices when it comes to budgetary procedures. We must make improvements to get businesses and jobs to are area and look to extend waterlines and sewer lines to create economic growth and development.
GWEN LOGAN
Age: 46
Home: 4172 York St., Farmdale.
Employment: Teacher, 1995-present. Formerly provided clerical support to husband's law office and kept books and managed real estate and video deposition companies.
Education: Bachelor's degree in commerce and finance from Wilkes College, Wilkes-Barre, Pa.
Family: Husband, Andrew, children Alana, Curt, Greg and Brian.
Priorities: Fiscal responsibility, integrity and economic development.
