BOARDMAN
Feb. 10
Burglary: A 33-year-old Youngstown man was arrested at the Mahoning County jail in the aggravated burglary of a residence in the 100 block of Shields Road.
Auto theft: A 2000 Hyundai Elantra was stolen from the JD Byrider parking lot, 6534 Market St.
Arrest: A 14-year-old Youngstown boy was arrested at the Southern Park Mall on a charge of receiving stolen property taken from Champs and Sportstown in the mall.
Theft: Police arrested a 38-year-old Brookfield man in the theft of two packages of frozen shrimp worth about $56 from Giant Eagle, 476 Boardman-Canfield Road. He also was charged with receiving stolen property after officers said they found stolen credit cards in his possession.
Theft: A Youngstown woman, 18, was charged in the theft of $72.82 worth of clothing from Wal-Mart.
Theft, criminal damage: A Homeworth woman reported her vehicle's door lock and vent window damaged, and a $400 CD player and a CD stolen while the car was at the Southern Park Mall.
Arrests: A Youngstown woman, 26, was arrested at the Tower Motel, 5235 Market St. She was charged with identity fraud.
Feb. 11
Arrest: Police arrested a 40-year-old Poland man on an assault warrant after a Canfield woman reported someone spit on her face in the Marc's parking lot, 7121 Tiffany Blvd.
Criminal damage: A Boardman woman discovered her vehicle's driver's-side rear window broken in the 70 block of Buena Vista Avenue. Damage was about $250.
Auto theft: A 1990 Olds Regency 98 was taken from Lowe's parking lot, 1100 Doral Drive.
Identity theft: A woman in the 5500 block of Sharon Drive reported someone fraudulently set up a wireless phone service using her identity information.
Criminal mischief: A 23-year-old Warren man was charged with criminal mischief after an employee at Kaufmann's in the Southern Park Mall said he saw the man blow his nose on a shirt and walk away.
Stolen property: A 38-year-old Struthers man was charged with receiving stolen property after an employee at Home Depot, 7001 Southern Blvd., reported that $1,071 worth of shingles had been stolen. The Struthers man also was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and drug possession after police say he had suspected marijuana in his possession.
Theft: A Youngstown girl, 13, and a McDonald girl, 14, were charged with theft and receiving stolen property. They are accused of stealing nine clothing items from the J.C. Penney store in the Southern Park Mall and more than $300 worth of clothing and jewelry from Abercrombie & amp; Fitch, Hollister and Claire's Boutique Inc., all in the mall.
Recovered property, criminal damage: A 1991 Chevrolet Beretta was located near where a woman reported her son's vehicle missing in the 7300 block of West Boulevard. The car's steering column had been damaged.

Attempted auto theft, criminal damage: An employee at Tuffy Auto Service Center, 721 Boardman-Canfield Road, reported someone tried to steal several vehicles after the business closed. At least one car had damage to its dashboard.
Drugs: A 28-year-old Boardman woman was arrested in the 6000 block of Applecrest Court on a felony charge of trafficking in drugs.
Assault: After responding to a call about a patient who refused to leave a doctor's office in the 900 block of Sahara Trail, police said that when they tried to handcuff the man, he fought them and kicked an officer in the chest.
Theft: An employee at Ohio Edison Penn Power Credit Union, 45 South Ave., reported the theft of a check at Home Savings and Loan, 4005 Hillman Way, resulting in a $1,500 loss to the credit union.
Domestic violence: Police arrested a 15-year-old girl at her Youngstown residence on a domestic-violence charge.
Theft: A Poland man reported his wallet and Ohio operator's license stolen while he was at Wal-Mart.
Robbery: A woman reported that, as she got out of her car near her Oregon Trail residence, someone pushed her to the ground and took her purse and checkbook. She suffered scrapes on her knee.
Recovered property: Police recovered a 1990 Pontiac Bonneville, stolen in Youngstown, in the Westminster Presbyterian Church parking lot, 119 Stadium Drive.
Theft: Someone removed a $155 garage door opener from a display shelf at Home Depot.
Theft, criminal damage: A New Springfield woman reported her car's door lock damaged, and a $150 CD player stolen, while she was at Movies 8, 469 Boardman-Poland Road.
Arrests: After a traffic stop near U.S. Route 224 and Applewood Boulevard, a Boardman man, 18, and two Boardman boys, both 17, were arrested. The man was charged with underage possession of alcohol and contributing to the delinquency of a minor; the boys faced charges of underage possession and consumption of alcohol, curfew violations and having an open container of alcohol.
Felonious assault, criminal damage: An Austintown woman alleged her husband intentionally rear-ended her vehicle as she attempted to leave Cinema South Inc., 7420 South Ave. Damage to her vehicle's rear bumper and front tire and rim was estimated at $1,400.
Feb. 13
Theft: Two Youngstown girls, 14 and 17, and a Youngstown woman, 38, were charged in the theft of four pairs of shoes from Gabriel Bros.
Theft: Police arrested a 44-year-old Mogadore man in the theft of 11 boxes of medications valued at $74 from Giant Eagle, 476 Boardman-Canfield Road.
Theft: A 45-year-old Youngstown man was arrested on Market Street in the theft of four bottles each of cologne and perfume totaling about $313 from Sears in the Southern Park Mall.
Arrest: A 22-year-old Youngstown man was arrested near U.S. Route 62 and Meridian Road on a charge of felonious assault after his wife said he intentionally struck her vehicle in the Cinema South Inc. parking lot.
Criminal damage: Someone did $150 worth of damage to a window at an apartment in the 5000 block of Aravesta Avenue.
Theft, criminal damage: A Canfield girl reported her vehicle's driver's-side window was broken, and that her purse and cellular phone were stolen, while she was at Tinseltown USA, 7401 Market St.
Assault: A man reported being assaulted while standing outside The English Pub, 1305 Boardman-Poland Road. He had a cut under his left eye.
Feb. 14
Theft, criminal damage: A Canfield woman reported $500 in damage to her vehicle's dashboard while her car was in the Movies 8 parking lot. An in-dash CD player, five CDs and $10 worth of change were taken.
Theft: A 20-year-old Youngstown woman was charged in the theft of two clothing items from Sears.
Theft: A Youngstown woman, 42, was charged in the theft of a $55 pair of tennis shoes from Sears.
Arrest: A 19-year-old Boardman man was arrested at Wal-Mart on charges of mishandling a firearm and misdemeanor drug abuse. A Wal-Mart employee alleged seeing a gun and suspected drugs in the man's car.
Assault: A woman reported being assaulted at Subway, 1304 Boardman-Poland Road. She had scratches and a swollen lower lip, as well as scratches on her neck.
Breaking and entering: Someone used a rock to break the front door window and break into Trumbull Mahoning Medical Group, 901 Trailwood Drive. Eighteen personal checks and $306 were stolen.
Theft: A Youngstown man discovered his wallet stolen while he shopped at Wal-Mart.
Theft: A woman reported a $5,000 diamond tennis bracelet and three gold bracelets stolen from her residence in the 800 block of Park Harbor Drive.
Theft: Someone stole a $210 17-inch computer monitor from Radio Shack, 7131 Tiffany Blvd.
Burglary: Someone broke into a residence in the 5000 block of Forest Park Place and took $300, various pieces of a Nativity set and a $1,000 ruby necklace.
Breaking and entering: An employee at Cellular One in the Southern Park Mall discovered a cabinet at a kiosk had been broken into and $180 was missing.
Truck theft: A 1994 Ford Ranger was stolen from a parking lot in the 20 block of Southwoods Drive.
Theft: A woman reported her purse was taken during an argument in the Southern Park Mall parking lot.
Theft: Someone took 12 cans of baby formula from Giant Eagle, 476 Boardman-Canfield Road.
Feb. 15
Assault: Police charged a 16-year-old Youngstown girl with assault after a Boardman girl reported being assaulted at a McDonald's restaurant in the Southern Park Mall. The girl's right leg was swollen below the knee.
Theft: A $150 CD player was stolen from a car at a residence in the 60 block of Shields Road.
Theft: Someone stole a $200 walkie-talkie from Target, 417 Boardman-Poland Road.
Criminal damage: A man reported someone tossed eggs at his vehicle and flattened one of its tires near his residence in the 4100 block of Hillman Way.
Theft: A 17-year-old Berlin Center girl was charged in the theft of $75 worth of clothing from Kohl's, 383 Boardman-Poland Road.
Feb. 16
Domestic violence: A 20-year-old Boardman woman was charged with domestic violence and possession of drug paraphernalia after a situation at a Crestline Drive home.
Burglary: A Hillman Way woman reported someone broke into a basement storage facility and removed $1,200 worth of clothing, miscellaneous canned food items and pots and pans.
Theft: A man in the 6800 block of Lockwood Boulevard reported his car broken into and 70 CDs, two speakers and a 250-watt amplifier stolen.
Theft: Police arrested two 15-year-old Campbell girls in the theft of four decorative items and two pairs of children's socks from Wal-Mart.
Theft: A Canfield woman noticed a tail light missing from her truck after she left Hair Inc., 1214 Doral Drive.
Theft: A front license plate was removed from a vehicle in the 500 block of Oakridge Drive.
Feb. 17
Arrest: A 28-year-old Green Garden Drive man was arrested on charges of assault and criminal damaging.
Burglary: A woman in the 8400 block of Glenwood Avenue reported about $20,000 worth of jewelry and computer equipment stolen from her residence.
Burglary: A woman reported $92 in cash and other items stolen from her purse in her vehicle parked in her garage in the 800 block of Ewing Road.
Theft: A 19-year-old Youngstown man was charged in the theft of a $50 BB gun and pistol kit and a 760-watt amplifier from Wal-Mart. He also was held on two warrants charging him with intimidation and phone harassment.
Auto theft: A 1999 Chrysler 300M was stolen from the Southern Park Mall parking lot.
Domestic violence: Police arrested a 31-year-old Boardman man on Maple Avenue on a domestic-violence charge after a Simon Road woman reported being a victim.
POLAND
Feb. 15
Arrest: After pulling over a vehicle on Hamilton Drive for having expired license plates, police arrested a 50-year-old Poland man on charges of driving under suspension and failure to comply with the order of a police officer. Police say the man fled from the car and ran into a nearby back yard.
