XLAS VEGAS, Nev. -- The East Chapel at the Bellagio Hotel and Casino was the setting at 1 p.m. Feb. 8 for the wedding of Dr. Rebecca J. Bruner and Dr. Marko Klisovic, both of 2221 Aschinger Blvd., Columbus.
The Rev. Dr. Richard Smith presided at the ceremony for the daughter of Kris and Gus Scaglione, 1039 Villa Place, Girard, and Janice and Tom Bruner, 368 Rosewae Ave., Cortland, and the son of Jela and Drago Klisovic of Sibenik, Croatia.
The bride wore a strapless cream-colored satin gown enhanced with a beaded bodice and shirring at the waist.
Gowned in red satin was the honor attendant, Tracy Proboski of Columbus.
Serving as best man was Brian Becknell of Columbus, and junior groomsman was the bride's brother, Corey Bruner of Cortland.
The bride graduated from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland with a bachelor's degree in biomedical engineering, and received her medical degree from Ohio State University School of Medicine in Columbus. She is a research fellow in the hematology/oncology department at OSU.
The groom earned a medical degree from the University of Zagreb in Croatia and in June will begin his residency specializing in obstetrics and gynecology.
Invitations will be issued for a family reception to be held in honor of the couple on March 27 at the Optimist Club in Cortland.
The couple will leave in June for a delayed honeymoon to Ocrocoke in the Outer Banks of North Carolina.
