EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. -- Lawrence Frank set a record for the best start by an NBA coach with his 10th straight victory. The Nets won because of Jason Kidd's 58th career triple-double and big games by Richard Jefferson and Rodney Rogers. Kidd finished with 15 points, 13 rebounds and 10 assists as the Nets won a franchise-record-tying 11th straight game. Jefferson had 16 of his 23 points in the second half and Rogers scored all 10 of his points in the final quarter. Kenyon Martin added 21 points and 10 rebounds for New Jersey. Rasheed Wallace, acquired before the All-Star break in a deal with Portland, had 20 points and six rebounds for Atlanta.
Spurs 86, Raptors 82
TORONTO -- Tim Duncan scored 26 points and tied a season-high with 21 rebounds as San Antonio won its sixth straight game. Toronto's Vince Carter didn't return after being helped off the court with an injury to his left ankle in the fourth quarter. Carter landed awkwardly after going up for a jumper. He remained down for several minutes clutching the ankle. Carter led Toronto with 22 points.
Magic 90, Jazz 77
ORLANDO, Fla. -- Tracy McGrady scored 17 of his 43 points in the third quarter for his second straight 40-point game, and Orlando snapped an eight-game losing streak. Juwan Howard added 20 points and nine rebounds, and Gordan Giricek had 15 points. Carlos Arroyo led Utah, losers of three straight, with 14 points.
Hornets 120, Wizards 98
NEW ORLEANS -- Jamal Mashburn scored 26 points and Baron Davis had 23 points and 13 assists to lead New Orleans in its best offensive performance of the season. Darrell Armstrong added 18 points as the Hornets won their third in a row. Juan Dixon scored 16 points to lead Washington.
Pistons 102, Bucks 98
AUBURN HILLS, Mich. -- Richard Hamilton scored 23 points and Chauncey Billups added 20 to help Detroit end a six-game losing streak. Corliss Williamson scored 15 points and Ben Wallace added 11 points, 15 rebounds and eight blocks for the Pistons. Michael Redd led the Bucks with 23 points and Desmond Mason added 20.
Lakers 100, Warriors 99
OAKLAND, Calif. -- Kobe Bryant scored 35 points, and Shaquille O'Neal blocked Clifford Robinson's shot in the final second. O'Neal had 31 points and 16 rebounds. Jason Richardson had 25 points and Robinson added 22 for the Warriors.
Trail Blazers 101, Clippers 86
PORTLAND, Ore. -- Portland's Zach Randolph had 17 points and 10 rebounds after being out of the starting lineup because he missed the pre-game shoot-around. Derek Anderson added 27 points to lead the Blazers, who snapped a three-game losing streak. The Clippers have lost five straight, all on the road. Elton Brand had 19 points and 10 rebounds for the Clippers, and Corey Maggette had 23 points and seven rebounds.
