Morgans honored for anniversary at family dinner

XHUBBARD -- Mr. and Mrs. Jack L. Morgan, 3441 Bell Wick Road, were the guests of honor Feb. 20 at a family dinner at Ryan's Restaurant in Akron in celebration of their 50th wedding anniversary.
Hosts for the festivities were the couple's children and their spouses, Karen and Tom Whiteford of Hubbard, Terri and Ed Hensperger of Hubbard and Jack Morgan and his fiancee, Patty Rickard of Austintown. Two grandchildren complete their family.
The couple were married Feb. 20, 1954, at St. Mary Catholic Church in Windber, Pa. Mr. Morgan served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War and retired in 1991 from Youngstown Sheet & amp; Tube/LTV Steel in Campbell where he was a taper checker in the coupling department.
Mrs. Morgan, the former Marge Pernick, is a homemaker.
The Morgans belong to St. Bernadette Church in Masury.
