HORIZON Sheets leads Butler past UW-M

INDIANAPOLIS -- Avery Sheets scored 17 of his 23 points in the second half Wednesday to lead Butler to a 75-58 victory over Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
Mike Monserez scored 16 points, and Jamie Smalligan added 15 on 6-of-12 shooting for the Bulldogs (12-12, 7-7 Horizon League).
Dylan Page had 18 points for the Panthers (17-8, 12-3), who were held to 26 percent shooting in the first half.
Detroit 69, Loyola (Chicago) 62
DETROIT -- Senior guard Rulon Harris scored a game-high 17 points to lead Detroit to its fifth straight Horizon win.
Harris got hot in the second half for Detroit (14-10, 8-6), scoring 13 points on 3-of-4 shooting from the floor and he made all six attempts at the free throw line.
Freshman forward Blake Schilb helped Loyola (7-18, 3-12) keep things close in the first half by scoring 11 points on 4-of-5 shooting, including 3 of 4 from behind the 3-point arc. He finished with a team-high 16 points.

ASHWAUBENON, Wis. -- Cedrick Banks scored 18 points and Martell Bailey had 14 as UIC won its seventh-straight game.
Joe Scott had 10 points and Elliott Poole had 12 rebounds as the Flames (19-7, 10-4 HL) outrebounded the Phoenix 49-26.
Kevin Hughes and Javier Mendiburu each scored 11 points to lead the Phoenix (16-8, 10-4), which finished 29.1 percent (16 of 55) from the floor.
