Inspector closes eatery
WARREN -- Employees of the Golden Stallion say they have been cleaning for nearly 24 hours since the restaurant and bar was shut down after a Trumbull County Health Department inspector found numerous violations.
Violations found during a Tuesday inspection of the Tod Avenue bar and restaurant, which is known for its chicken, included a mold covering the walls of a walk-in cooler and food storage shelves; moldy vegetables and bugs in dry pasta; cooked chicken being stored at prime bacteria-breeding temperatures; grease caking the stove hoods and the fire suppression system; and a hand sink that was dirty with no soap for hand washing.
