EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. -- Defenseman Paul Martin scored 3 minutes, 53 seconds into overtime for New Jersey. The Devils fell behind 2-0 in the first period. Pavel Rosa, playing his first NHL game this season, scored his first NHL goal in five years for the Kings, and defenseman Tomas Zizka, playing in only his eighth game of the season, scored his first NHL goal. Sergei Brylin and Jamie Langenbrunner had the other New Jersey goals.
Flames 2, Wild 1
ST. PAUL, Minn. -- Robyn Regehr broke a tie 6:25 into the third period, and Miikka Kiprusoff allowed only a fluke goal in Calgary's victory. Jarome Iginla scored his 29th goal for the Flames, who surpassed last season's victory total by earning their 30th win of the season. Kiprusoff made 15 saves to earn his third straight victory since returning last week after being out more than a month because of a strained knee. Sergei Zholtok scored for Minnesota 5:10 into the second period for his sixth goal in six games.
Capitals 4, Blackhawks 0
CHICAGO -- Olaf Kolzig stopped 38 shots for his second shutout this season and 33rd of his career to lead Washington past Chicago. Peter Bondra and Stephen Peat scored 65 seconds apart early in the second period to give the Capitals a 2-0 lead. Matt Pettinger and Anson Carter added goals in the third to help Washington snap a three-game winless streak. Craig Anderson made 29 saves for the Blackhawks, whose three-game winning streak ended.
Oilers 2, Predators 2
NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- Andreas Johansson had a goal and an assist, both on power plays, in Nashville's tie with Edmonton. Nashville took a 1-0 lead just 1:33 in when Scott Walker scored. Edmonton tied it on the power play in the second period on Radek Dvorak's goal. Johansson put the Predators ahead again with seven minutes remaining in the period. The Oilers got even at 2 at 10:08 of the third period when Ethan Moreau scored.
