No. 13 DePaul 73, Saint Louis 65
CHICAGO -- Khara Smith had 32 points on 14-of-16 shooting and Jenni Dent added 15 points to lead DePaul. DePaul (21-2, 9-1 Conference USA) went on a 10-4 run to take a 52-33 lead with 12:50 left to play. Saint Louis cut the led to 65-57, but Smith had a basket and a free throw to extend the lead back to double digits. The Blue Demons, who forced 24 turnovers, hit 7-of-8 free throws down the stretch to seal the win. Angie Lewis led the Billikens (8-16, 2-9) with 28 points and nine rebounds.
Drake 73, No. 23 SW Missouri St. 67
DES MOINES, Iowa -- Linda Sayavongchanh scored 15 points and Drake rallied from 16 down to beat Southwest Missouri State, ending the nation's longest winning streak at 18 games. Whitney Pegram and Jill Martin each added 14 points for Drake (9-12, 6-6 Missouri Valley Conference), which got back into the game with a 13-2 run early in the second half and took the lead for good on Mandy Kappel's 3-pointer with 4:26 left. Kari Koch led Southwest Missouri State (20-2, 11-1) with 19 points, but she scored only three on 1-for-8 shooting in the second half.
No. 22 TCU 125, East Carolina 119, 4 OT
GREENVILLE, N.C. -- Sandora Irvin had 27 points and 12 rebounds, and No. 22 TCU withstood an awesome performance by Courtney Willis to defeat East Carolina in four overtimes. Willis scored 40 points and pulled down 21 rebounds for the Pirates, who lost for the fifth time in a row. She sent the game into overtime, making two foul shots with 31 seconds left in regulation to tie it at 83. In the third overtime, her free throw with 21 seconds remaining made it 112-all. Tracy Wynn put TCU ahead for good, hitting a 3-pointer with 1:43 left in the fourth OT for a 120-117 lead.
No. 25 Houston 62, Charlotte 58
CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Chandi Jones had 20 points and 11 rebounds to lead Houston. Sancho Lyttle added 16 points and seven rebounds, and Joann Overstreet had 12 points and six assists to help the Cougars (20-3, 9-1 Conference USA) win their fifth straight game. Pam Brown led the 49ers (14-9, 7-3) with 12 points, and Sakellie Daniels had nine points and nine rebounds. Andrea Davidson added nine assists.
