BASEBALL
Austintown Community Baseball -- will conduct player registration Feb. 14 and 15 from noon to 4:00 pm in the lobby of Austintown Fitch High School. Registration is open to all children 5-17 for baseball and girls softball. Parent or legal guardian must be present with a copy of the child's birth certificate.
Spring baseball school -- is holding registration for two age groups. The camps will be Feb. 28 through March 27 for ages 8-11 and Feb. 29 through March 28 for ages 11-14. For more information or to register, call Matt Giambattista at (330) 793-5605.
Howland Athletic Club will hold registration for baseball and softball Feb. 19 and Feb. 25 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. and Feb. 21 and Feb. 28 from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. for children 6 and older. Columbiana High School -- will hold a track and field clinic at 9 a.m. Monday for coaches and students. Guest speakers include Scott Jones (University of Akron), Al Campbell (Walsh), Charles Grimes (Malone), Dave Pavlansky (Boardman), Bob Spaite (Columbiana), Dan McCallion (Walsh) and fitness experts Wayne and Patti Johnson.
