Symphony Guild plans 'Evening to Remember'

The black-tie event is marking its 40th year.
BOARDMAN -- The Youngstown Symphony Guild will hold its 40th annual symphony ball March 6 at Mr. Anthony's Banquet Center.
The black-tie event, usually held at Edward W. Powers Auditorium in Youngstown, was relocated because the symphony center is undergoing renovations.
A social time will begin at 6 p.m. A formal dinner will follow at 7:15 and then dancing. The evening also will include silent and live auctions for various trips and prizes.
The theme, "An Evening to Remember," also will pay homage to the symphony board members and guild volunteers who have maintained and sustained one of Youngstown's cultural treasures.
Susan Huber, guild president, is heading arrangements for the gala. Assisting her are Dorothy Davis, ball chairwoman, and Patricia Kavic, silent auction chairwoman; and committee members, Susan Berny, Lucille Ambrosia, Stephanie Hunter, Irene Costakis, Diane Debiec, Phyllis Bacon, Janice Stefko, Donna Nord, Suzyn Schwebel-Epstein, Phyllis Wilkie, Jackie Motsinger, Pam Hirko and Shari Carlozzi.
