TAMPA, Fla. -- Vincent Lecavalier scored the go-ahead goal with 5:04 remaining as Tampa Bay overcame a two-goal deficit. Lecavalier also had two assists. Martin St. Louis and Brad Richards each scored two goals for the Lightning. Saku Koivu had a goal and two assists for the Canadiens. Andrei Markov and Jan Bulis scored the other Montreal goals.
Hurricanes 3, Capitals 3
RALEIGH, N.C. -- Pavel Brendl scored late in the third period to tie it for Carolina. Marty Murray and Sean Hill each scored for the Hurricanes. Kevin Weekes had 18 saves for Carolina, which out-shot Washington 41-21. Jeff Halpern had a goal and an assist for the Capitals. Olaf Kolzig had 38 saves.
Senators 3, Bruins 2, OT
OTTAWA -- Martin Havlat's second goal of the game 1:23 into overtime won it. Havlat, who put Ottawa on top 2-0 in the second period, beat Felix Potvin for the winner, his 19th goal this season. Boston defenseman Jiri Slegr scored with 40.4 seconds remaining in regulation and the Bruins salvaged a point despite ending a season-high six-game winning streak. Ted Donato scored a short-handed goal for Boston.
Flyers 2, Rangers 1
NEW YORK -- Sean Burke made 26 saves in his first game back with Philadelphia, and Sami Kapanen scored the go-ahead goal midway through the third period. Simon Gagne also scored for the Flyers. The Flyers lost two centers in the third period. Jeremy Roenick was struck in the face by a puck, and Keith Primeau was injured in a collision with the Rangers' Bobby Holik.
Avalanche 4, Blues 0
ST. LOUIS -- David Aebischer stopped 29 shots for his fourth shutout of the season and the Avalanche extended their points streak to 11 games. Alex Tanguay and Peter Forsberg each had a goal and an assist for Colorado, 6-0-3-2 in the last 11 games. Steve Konowalchuk and Derek Morris also scored.
