CORYDON PALMER DENTAL SOCIETY Dr. Gessner is inducted as organization's president



Past presidents and 50-year members of the society were honored.
NILES -- Austintown dentist Dr. Larry Gessner was installed as president of the Corydon Palmer Dental Society at the group's annual installation-winter dance at McMenamy's.
Dr. Gessner succeeds outgoing president Dr. Steven Watts of Howland.
The following executive officers were also installed: Dr. P. Michael Moore, president-elect; Dr. Philip Leone, vice president; and Dr. Stephen Musick, secretary. Dr. Thomas Gabriel was re-installed as treasurer.
Background
Dr. Gessner, a graduate of Walsh College and Ohio State University, has practiced for 23 years at 290 S. Canfield-Niles Road, Austintown. He and his wife, Renee, have two children.
Dr. Gessner has served the society on its Board of Trustees and its budget and finance, continuing education and long-range strategic planning committees.
He has also been an alternate delegate to the Ohio Dental Association for nine years and was a cardiopulmonary resuscitation instructor for society-sponsored classes. He served on the faculties of Forum Health and Youngstown State University dental hygiene programs, and the OSU and Case Western Reserve University adjunct programs.

New board members also installed include the following: Drs. David Morvay, Rebecca West Natale and Lee Snelson, all from Trumbull County; Drs. James Kozlow, Jeffrey Logan and Craig Wagley, all from Mahoning County; and Dr. Jeffrey Caldwell from Columbiana County.
Past presidents and 50-year members of the society were honored, with special recognition given to this year's new 50-year members: Drs. Merle Heyman, Jack M. Ayres, James Davakis, William Gordon, Wilfred E. Houlihan and Robert H.

The Corydon Palmer Dental Society represents members in Trumbull, Mahoning and Columbiana counties, and is the local component of the Ohio and the American dental associations.
