TRUMBULL COUNTY Grand jury indicts two men in convenience store robbery

WARREN -- The Trumbull County grand jury has indicted two men in the robbery of a Liberty Township convenience store.
Aaron Hollis, 25, of Akron, and Jason Moore, 26, of Cleveland, were both indicted Wednesday on charges of aggravated robbery and kidnapping.
Hollis also faces an additional charge of illegal possession of a weapon.
Police say the men, wearing dark clothes and hooded ski masks, entered the Stop Mart, 4495 Loganway Ave., shortly before 8 p.m. Saturday and ordered the clerk into the back of the store, where they handcuffed her to a set of shelves.
The woman told police the men were carrying guns.
When the clerk told the robbers there was no safe in the store, they tried to open the cash register, but were unsuccessful.
Police were notified when a customer became suspicious when she went inside and could not find anyone in the store.
Also indicted
The grand jury also indicted Dennis C. Minor Jr., no age available, of Warren, on a charge of retaliation.
Sheriff's deputies said Minor was arrested on the charge Jan. 30 after he began yelling at jurors.
The outburst took place shortly after Minor's friend, Deavery Lyons, 24, was convicted on one charge each of rape and kidnapping. Lyons, of Warren, will be sentenced after a background check.
He could receive a life sentence with possibility of parole after 10 years, court officials said.
