Testas to visit Florida, Bahamas on anniversary

XYOUNGSTOWN -- A visit to Deland, Fla., and a cruise to the Bahamas have been planned in celebration of the 60th wedding anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. Henry R. Testa of Youngstown.
Arrangements for the events were made by their son and daughter-in-law, Richard and Joanne Testa of Deland. One granddaughter completes their family circle.
Married on Feb. 14, 1944, at St. Lucy Church in Campbell, the Testas are members of Immaculate Conception Church, where a Mass was held in their honor Feb. 14.
Mrs. Testa, the former Ellen G. Mantini, was a licensed practical nurse at St. Elizabeth Hospital prior to retiring in 1983. She is a member of 1418 Auxiliary.
Mr. Testa served as a sergeant with the U.S. Army in Europe during World War II. He retired in 1983 from Youngstown Sheet and Tube Co., where he was a motor builder. He is president of 1418 Auxiliary and a member of the VFW Post 3538 in Struthers.
The couple also are members of St. Nicholas Seniors, St. Dominic Seniors and the Young at Heart Seniors.
They were also honored for their anniversary at the Feb. 5 meeting of the 1418 Auxiliary.
