NHL ROUNDUP | Wednesday's other games

Red Wings 4, Sharks 2
DETROIT -- Steve Yzerman scored twice in what could be a costly victory for Detroit. Goaltender Curtis Joseph sprained his right ankle and was replaced by Manny Legace to start the second period. The Sharks' Jonathan Cheechoo tripped and fell into Joseph's legs in the first period, knocking him to the ice. Joseph had surgery on Aug. 19, to remove bone chips from his right ankle.
Rangers 3, Devils 1
EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. -- Mike Dunham had 28 saves and New York earned its first regulation win over the Devils in almost three years. Defensemen Tom Poti and Boris Mironov scored first-period goals and Dan LaCouture scored on a second-period wraparound against Martin Brodeur. That gave the Rangers only their third regular season win (3-21-13) over New Jersey since 1997. The Rangers' last regulation win was 4-3 here on March 31, 2001.
Blackhawks 5, Predators 2
CHICAGO -- Steve Sullivan, Alex Zhamnov and Bryan Berard each had a goal and an assist. Mark Bell and Ryan VandenBussche also scored for the Blackhawks, who chased All-Star goalie Tomas Vokoun midway through the second period. Chicago has won three of its last four games. Denis Arkhipov and Adam Hall scored for the Predators, who have lost three straight and allowed 14 goals during that span.
Stars 4, Islanders 4
DALLAS -- Bill Guerin scored with 6.2 seconds remaining in regulation as Dallas stretched its unbeaten streak to eight games. Rookie Trent Hunter gave the Islanders a 4-3 edge with 1:47 remaining on his 20th goal. Hunter scored on a backhand rebound off a shot by Oleg Kvasha, who had a goal and three assists.
Oilers 5, Thrashers 1
EDMONTON, Alberta -- Shawn Horcoff and Raffi Torres each had a goal and an assist in a game that ended with a wild brawl. Atlanta has lost six straight. Atlanta goalie Pasi Nurminen was ejected in the final minutes for fighting with Edmonton goalie Ty Conklin during the melee. The Thrashers finished with no goalie, because starter Byron Dafoe injured his groin earlier in the game.
Mighty Ducks 5, Coyotes 3
ANAHEIM, Calif. -- Vaclav Prospal scored his 10th goal in 11 games to put Anaheim ahead and added three assists. Rookie Joffrey Lupul and Petr Sykora each had a goal and an assist, and Steve Rucchin had three assists for Anaheim. Jean-Sebastien Giguere made 22 saves for only his second victory in his last 10 starts. Niclas Havelid and Sergei Fedorov scored power-play goals less than two minutes apart in the first period against Phoenix's Brian Boucher, who stopped 23 shots in his first game since Monday's trade of goaltender Sean Burke to Philadelphia.
Flames 3, Canucks 2
VANCOUVER, British Columbia -- Jarome Iginla scored 28 seconds into the third period. The Flames' captain also assisted on Craig Conroy's goal in the first period. Chuck Kobasew also scored and Roman Turek made 32 saves for the Flames.
