Maher-Owen engagement is announced

XCANFIELD --The engagement of Jaime Maher, 3235 Starwick Court, and Scott Owen, 3315 Meanderwood Drive, is being announced by their parents.
The bride-elect is a daughter of Tom and Beverly Maher, 10505 Unity Road, New Middletown. Mr. Owen is a son of Lee and Jan Owen of the Meanderwood Drive address.
Invitations will be issued for the couple's wedding that is planned for sunset May 1 at Lido Key, Sarasota, Fla., and for a postnuptial reception to be held May 21 at the Maronite Center in Youngstown.
Miss Maher attended Youngstown State University and is a hair stylist at The Hair Spa in Boardman. She also is self-employed as a fitness instructor and personal trainer.
The future groom attended YSU and graduated from Jameson Hospital School of Nursing in New Castle, Pa. He is a registered nurse at St. Elizabeth Health Center in Youngstown.
