Author plans workshopfor fiction writers
HERMITAGE, Pa. -- Local author Susan Dexter will hold this year's first session of her fiction writing workshop, "Where Writers Become Authors," from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday at Jerry Stigliano's Book Source on State Street.
The main topic for discussion will be plotting, but there will also be general discussion of writing, agents and publishing as requested.
Participants may have up to 10 typewritten pages of their work evaluated by Dexter after the workshop, and they are encouraged to bring short selections to share with the group.
Fiction writers of all levels are invited. There is a $10 registration fee, and reservations are suggested because space is limited.
