UMy Favorite wants to be your favorite, too. This band from Long Island, N.Y. will play smart indie pop music at Nyabinghi, 1229 Salt Springs Road, Youngstown. My Favorite is working its way east, having performed earlier this week in Cleveland and headed to Pittsburgh on Friday night. If you like what you hear, you can take home the band's new double CD, "The Happiest Days of Our Lives."

The Grammy-winning, Rock and Roll Hall of Fame-enshrined R & amp;B singer will perform a "Greatest Hits" show at 7:30 p.m. March 24 in Palace Theatre, Playhouse Square Center, Cleveland. "Greatest hits" means his best songs -- "Tired of Being Alone," "Let's Stay Together," "Look What You've Done For Me" and more. Tickets will go on sale at 10 a.m. through Tickets.com.
UMusic-minded folk may buy tickets after 10 a.m. for these Cleveland-area concerts: New Jersey punk-minded band Saves the Day with Grandaddy, Hey Mercedes and The Fire Theft, April 2 at Agora Theatre; and folk legend Joan Baez, March 27 at Lakewood Civic Auditorium. Call Ticketmaster.
UNew Castle Playhouse is aiming for the bullseye with its production of "Annie Get Your Gun." As the story goes, Annie Oakley's sharpshooting skills earn her top billing in Buffalo Bill's Wild West Show but threaten her romance with co-star Frank Butler. This Irving Berlin musical features the song "There's No Business Like Show Business," which became the entertainment industry's anthem. UWhat does your sweetheart want for Valentine's Day? If the promise of loud music on a warm summer evening will make that special someone smile, log onto Ticketmaster's Web site at 10 a.m. and order a pair of tickets to the No Doubt/Blink-182 concert that will be June 12 at Blossom Music Center, Cuyahoga Falls. Nothing says love like watching No Doubt's wildly-dressed lead singer, Gwen Stefani, perform "Underneath It All." Tickets are $51.50 for pavilion seats and $43.50 for lawn. Go ahead, big spender.
UPerhaps your beloved actually expects to go somewhere on Valentine's Day. A more traditional but lively option may be Just Got To Dance Club's dance at Youngstown Maennerchor, the German social club at 831 Mahoning Ave. Not knowing how to dance is no excuse; lessons are offered from 7 to 8 p.m. A DJ will spin tunes from 8 to 11 p.m. Admission is $8 at the door.
UOther concert tickets that will go up for grabs after 10 a.m. include: rock singer Rod Stewart, July 27 at Cleveland's Gund Arena, with a set list that should include songs from his Great American Songbook CD as well as his career hits; and aggressive rock by metal bands Slipknot, Fear Factory and Chimaira, April 17 at Tower City Amphitheatre, also Cleveland. UGreenville Symphony Orchestra will present "All American," the second concert in its 75th season, at 8 p.m. Feb. 21 at Passavant Center at Thiel College, Greenville, Pa. Penn-Ohio Singers will perform at 7:15 in the lobby and during the second half of the orchestra's program, which includes Gershwin's "American in Paris" and Scott Joplin's "The Entertainer." UTickets will go on sale Monday for an exclusive live broadcast of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony on March 15 at Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum, Cleveland. It costs $2,500 to attend the actual ceremony at the Waldorf-Astoria in New York, but only $10 to watch the proceedings on the big screen at the rock hall (VH1 will air an edited version later). Plus, you can tour the museum and get the first look at the 2004 Inductee Exhibit, which honors Jackson Browne, The Dells, George Harrison, Prince, Bob Seger, Traffic and Z.Z. Top. Call Ticketmaster.
