Summary of police activity for Hubbard, Girard and Liberty:
HUBBARD
Feb. 2
Criminal damage: An employee at St. Patrick's School, Water Street, reported damage to a church-owned pickup truck.
Feb. 3
Criminal mischief: A man found several plastic cups with obscenities on them in his yard in the 400 block of Rebecca Avenue.
Drugs: An employee at a Shell gas station, 204 W. Liberty St., said a man found suspected marijuana on the floor near a cash register.
Feb. 5
Arrest: After police pulled over his vehicle in the 1400 block of North Main Street, a Warren man was arrested on charges of obstructing official business, resisting arrest, criminal trespass and drug abuse.
Feb. 8
Criminal mischief: A man in the 500 block of West Liberty Street reported someone damaged an angel ornament placed on his mother's gravesite at Union Cemetery in Hubbard.
Domestic violence: After receiving a 911 call about a domestic situation at a home in the 800 block of Moore Street, police charged a 32-year-old Hubbard man with two counts of domestic violence.
GIRARD
Feb. 7
Vandalism: A man returned to his home in the 500 block of Washington Avenue and discovered someone drove an all-terrain or a sport-utility vehicle through his backyard.
Feb. 8
Attempted robbery: A Girard boy reported a man got out of his vehicle and demanded money while the victim was in front of Santisi's IGA Supercenter, 419 N. State St. The boy refused to give the suspect money and said the man pushed him to the ground and punched and kicked him. The victim had a black eye and a bump on his forehead.
Assault: A Poland man reported someone jumped him and punched him in the nose during an altercation at Mikeee's, 30 N. State St.
Feb. 9
Assault: An Indiana Avenue man alleged three men beat him up at a residence on Iowa Avenue.
Breaking and entering: An employee at B & amp;L Freight, 1224 S. State St., reported someone entered the business and stole his toolbox and tools. Entry may have been made through an open body shop door.
LIBERTY
Feb. 4
Recovered property: A Girard man found a $50 AM-FM/tape player while walking on Lucretia Drive.
Feb. 5
Theft: A Poland man reported someone stole two checks, written for $210 and $340, and cashed them at Giant Eagle, 4700 Belmont Ave.
Arrest: After conducting a traffic stop on Naylor-Lloyd Road, police arrested a 41-year-old Poland man on five counts of failure to appear in court. Original charges included possession of drug paraphernalia, having no operator's license and resisting arrest.
Feb. 6
Theft: An employee at Belmont Eye Clinic, 3020 Belmont Ave., alleged a Youngstown woman, 48, concealed and removed a $55 sample frame from the business.
Feb. 7
Theft: A woman in the 4700 block of Fifth Avenue said someone staying with her daughter removed a $1,000 32-inch TV from the victim's residence .
Arrest: After stopping a car on state Route 193, police arrested a 46-year-old Youngstown woman on a charge of military desertion.
Identity theft: A Fifth Avenue man reported receiving a collection notice from Cellular One of Boardman for cellular phone service he never had, and that someone fraudulently used his identity to set up the service.
Theft: A 54-year-old Girard man was charged with theft after two packages of steaks were stolen from Giant Eagle. He also was charged with criminal trespass.
Feb. 8
Auto theft: A 1987 Pontiac 6000 was stolen from a residence in the 3000 block of Green Acres Drive.
Breaking and entering: Police arrested a 34-year-old Youngstown man at Walgreen Drug Store, 2560 Belmont Ave., on a charge of breaking and entering after someone broke a front window at the Liberty Mini Mart, 3007 Belmont Ave. He also was charged with carrying a concealed weapon and resisting arrest after police say he led them on a foot chase and that, after being arrested, they found a hidden knife in his possession.
Breaking and entering: Nothing was missing from ComDoc, 6790 Belmont Ave., after police arrived and found two rear doors ajar and a desk inside disturbed.
Burglary, assault: A Naylor-Lloyd Road woman reported a man forced his way into her residence, broke her phone and assaulted her.
Feb. 9
Auto theft: A 1990 Pontiac Bonneville was stolen from a carport in the 3000 block of Green Acres Drive.
Forgery: A Giant Eagle employee alleged an Ashtabula man, 35, cashed a counterfeit $475.64 payroll check that had been photocopied and drawn on the account of an Iowa construction company.
Arrest: A Youngstown man, 25, was arrested at Rentway, 2718 Belmont Ave., on a warrant charging him with domestic violence.
