Parents announce Linton-Handel engagement

XLAKE MILTON -- Announcement is being made of the engagement of Devon Elizabeth Linton and Neville Edward Handel, both of 25 Valley Park Road, Asheville, N.C., by the future groom's parents, Dr. Daniel and Kathleen Handel, 17615 Mahoning Ave.
Parents of the bride-to-be are Dr. John C. and Shareen Linton, 538 S. Fort Drive, Charleston, W.Va.
Miss Linton graduated from West Virginia University, Morgantown, W.Va., with a bachelor's degree in psychology. She is an associate teacher at Evergreen Community Charter School in Asheville.
Mr. Handel earned a bachelor's degree in anthropology from Kenyon College, Gambier, and plans to continue his education in a graduate program in environmental policy. He is a bartender at the Flying Frog Cafe, Asheville.
Highland Lake Inn, Flat Rock, N.C., will be the setting for the couple's wedding and reception planned for May 29. The ceremony will take place at 4:30 p.m. with the reception following. Invitations will be issued.
