Feb. 1
Domestic violence: Police charged a 56-year-old man with domestic violence after an Austintown woman reported being assaulted in the man's Clifton Drive driveway. She had bruises on her left hand.
Stolen property: After conducting a vehicle registration check in the Wal-Mart parking lot, 1300 Doral Drive, police discovered a 1985 Dodge Lancer belonging to a Moscow, Idaho, woman had been stolen.
Theft: A Youngstown woman reported $150 was withdrawn from her bank account without permission.
Counterfeit: An employee at Sam's Club, 6361 South Ave., discovered a counterfeit $20 bill in a drawer while conducting an audit.
Feb. 2
Theft: An employee at Lowe's, 1100 Doral Drive, discovered two $32 cordless phones and a $20 telephone had been stolen.
Theft: An employee at the Ohio Valley Collection Agency, 839 Southwestern Run Road, reported someone illegally filled the company's trash bin with trash.
Arrest: A 46-year-old Youngstown woman was arrested at her Kenmore Avenue home on one count of failure to appear in court to face a theft charge.
Theft: Police charged a New Waterford girl and a Columbiana girl, both 15, with theft and possession of criminal tools after a theft at Kohl's, 383 Boardman-Poland Road. Twenty-four clothing items valued at $339 were taken.
Criminal mischief: A North Lima girl reported someone tossed a cup of soda into her car and threatened her while she was in the Wendy's drive-through, 8541 South Ave.
Aggravated menacing: A Poland man reported someone pointed a gun or pipe at him while he was at Country Fair Food Store, 7465 South Ave.

Theft, forgery: Police charged a 25-year-old Youngstown man with forgery after a Beechwood Drive woman discovered two Sky Bank checks missing from her checkbook, and that they had been written and cashed for $400.
Auto theft: A Raleigh, N.C., man discovered his 2004 Mitsubishi Endeavor rental car stolen from the Holiday Inn parking lot, 7410 South Ave.
Theft: A woman reported her purse missing when she shopped at Marc's, 7121 Tiffany Blvd.
Theft: Someone removed three cameras from Value City Department Store, 1130 Boardman-Poland Road.

Arrest: A 15-year-old Youngstown boy was charged with theft and misuse of a credit card after a Youngstown woman reported $150 had been removed from her account without permission.
Theft: A Boardman man reported being the victim of Internet theft by deception in which he lost
$220.90.
Theft: A woman reported a flag missing from her residence in the 5000 block of Friendship Avenue.
Auto theft: An employee at Spartan Chevrolet, 7870 Market St., reported a 2004 Chevrolet Trailblazer missing.
Arrest: Police arrested a 51-year-old Boardman man on a felony charge of immigration violation after an employee at the Boardman License Bureau, 229 Boardman-Canfield Road, reported someone provided a false Social Security card in an attempt to buy license plates.
Theft: An employee at Jillian's Entertainment in the Southern Park Mall reported $70 stolen.
Burglary: A woman reported a burglary to her residence in the 2000 block of Brandon Avenue. A 27-inch TV, an upright vacuum cleaner and 60 clothing items valued at $500 were stolen.
Identity theft: A woman in the 7400 block of Huntington Drive reported someone fraudulently used her Social Security number to open a cellular phone account.
Assault: A Brookfield Avenue man reported his brother was assaulted at Buffalo Wild Wings in the Southern Park Mall. The man had abrasions on his nose, left cheek and the right side of his head.
Drugs: A 19-year-old man was arrested at his Shields Road residence on a felony warrant charging him with possession of cocaine.
Criminal mischief: An employee at Cellular One, 8089 South Ave., reported a large scratch on her vehicle's passenger-side door strip, a scratch on its front left bumper and hood and a cracked right headlight. Damage was estimated at $1,250.
Feb. 5
Theft: Police arrested a 26-year-old New Middletown man on a theft charge after three DVDs were stolen from Best Buy, 561 Boardman-Poland Road.
Forgery: A 20-year-old Youngstown man was arrested at the Mahoning County jail on three counts of forgery. Someone forged three checks, totaling $550, and cashed them at Giant Eagle, 1201 Doral Drive.
Thefts: A woman in the 1700 block of Nova Lane reported a school bag and a $200 digital camera taken from her car, and a Basil Avenue woman reported $2 in change missing from her vehicle.
Criminal mischief: A man reported someone shot a paint ball and hit a window frame at his home in the 7400 block of Ranier Trail.
Theft, forgery: A woman reported a box of checks missing, and that one check was forged and cashed for $250 at Sky Bank, 525 E. Midlothian Blvd.
Criminal damage: A New Castle, Pa., woman reported her car's passenger-side rear window was broken in the Southern Park Mall parking lot.
Assault: A Struthers woman reported being assaulted at a residence in the 4400 block of Lockwood Boulevard. She had bruises on the left side of her neck.
Criminal damage: A woman in the 400 block of Mathews Road found her mailbox smashed, and about $300 in damage to her front yard.
Feb. 6
Auto thefts: An employee at Youngstown Buick Pontiac GMC Truck, 7997 Market St., discovered a 2000 Chevrolet Impala and a 2000 Pontiac Bonneville stolen.
Auto theft: A 1989 Chevrolet Corsica was stolen from a parking lot in the 7400 block of West Boulevard.
Theft by deception: An employee at Monro Muffler Brake, 210 Boardman-Canfield Road, discovered the business was fraudulently charged for about $156 worth of vehicle parts.
Theft: Police arrested a 21-year-old man and an 18-year-old woman, both from Youngstown, after six bandannas, two ring sets and two pairs of socks were stolen from the J.C. Penney store in the Southern Park Mall. The woman was charged with theft; the man faced a charge of complicity to theft and was wanted on a warrant from Struthers charging him with telecommunications harassment.
Arrest: A 35-year-old Lowellville man was arrested near Lemoyne and Woodlawn avenues on a charge of receiving stolen property.
Arrests: Two 13-year-old Youngstown boys were charged with criminal trespass after a Southern Park Mall employee reported seeing the pair jump over a counter at a kiosk.
Assault: A Youngstown girl reported being assaulted at the Skate Connection, 7080 Tiffany Blvd. The girl complained that she was unable to move her right leg, and she had injuries on her head, right knee and hip, as well as swelling on her face.
Arrest: A 33-year-old Cleveland Heights woman was arrested at the Trumbull County jail on two counts each of forgery and criminal simulation. An employee at Bank One, 380 Boardman-Canfield Road, reported receiving a payroll check that had been duplicated and signed.
Feb. 7
Theft: A 30-year-old man was arrested at his Meadowbrook Avenue residence on a warrant charging him with theft. A microwave oven, four pillows, two washcloths, two bath towels and two floor mats were stolen from a room at the Travelers Inn, 6110 Market St.
Recovered property: Police recovered a 2004 Mitsubishi Endeavor in the 7400 block of West Boulevard.
Identity theft: A Tippecanoe Road man discovered someone used his identity to open an SBC phone account in his name.
Criminal damage: A man in the 4800 block of Brookwood Road reported three trees in his yard had been pushed over, resulting in about $2,000 worth of damage.
Credit-card fraud: A man in the 300 block of Mathews Road discovered several unauthorized purchases had been made using his Visa card.
Theft: A Canfield woman reported her driver's license, a handbag, $30 to $50 and four credit cards stolen while she was at Kaufmann's in the Southern Park Mall.
Arrests: A Warren man, 23, and a Girard man, 24, were arrested at the Southern Park Mall on theft charges. One man also was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.
Arrests: After pulling over a vehicle in the 100 block of Rockdale Avenue, police arrested two Boardman boys, 16 and 17. One was charged with underage consumption and possession of alcohol; the other boy faced charges of underage possession of alcohol and underage possession of tobacco products.
