WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. -- Shereka Wright scored 19 points to lead sixth-ranked Purdue over Ohio State 57-54 Sunday.
Wright joined MaChelle Joseph and Stephanie White as the only players in Purdue history to score 2,000 points.
Erika Valek had 17 points and four assists for Purdue (19-2, 9-1 Big Ten), which outscored the Buckeyes 20-4 during an 11-minute stretch spanning the end of the first and start of the second half to take control and win its 10th straight.
Caity Matter scored 14 points for Ohio State (13-8, 5-5).

MINNEAPOLIS -- Lindsay Whalen scored 23 points and Janel McCarville added 22, and Minnesota (18-3, 7-3 Big Ten) snapped Penn State's 11-game winning streak. Kelly Mazzante scored 22 and Tanisha Wright had 20 for Penn State (18-4, 10-1), which hadn't lost since a 13-point defeat on the road against then-No. 14 North Carolina on Dec. 30.
