CANFIELD
Feb. 3
Marijuana possession: A 38-year-old Warren man was arrested on a charge of possessing of about 1.5 grams of marijuana. The man's car was parked on the east side of North Broad Street at the north end of the green and he was seen walking south on North Broad when police approached him. He said his car was out of gas.
Feb 5.
Drug possession/falsification: A 30-year-old Akron man was arrested on a charge of drug abuse of marijuana, obtaining and possessing when police found a pack of rolling papers and marijuana in the car he was driving during a traffic stop on West Main Street. The passenger, 26-year-old Akron man, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia. He presented a false document after he gave police his brother's driver's license.
Feb. 7
Drug paraphernalia: A 46-year-old Canfield man was arrested at Cardinal Drive and U.S. Route 224 after police found a small plastic bag with suspected marijuana in it and a pack of rolling papers.

Drug offense: A man was issued a summons at Mahoning Avenue and Idaho Road on a charge of possession of marijuana.
Theft: A female caretaker wrote two checks out of the victim's account in the 900 block of Collins Avenue.
Theft: Employee theft over the past few years was reported at Ohio Van, 3667 Mahoning Ave.

Tampering with coin machine: A pop machine was broken into at Carl's Towing in the 6000 block of Mahoning Avenue.
Theft: An 85-year-old man was accused of taking $75 worth of food at Giant Eagle, 5220 Mahoning Ave.
Theft: Medication was taken from a residence in the 300 block of Beech Crest Avenue.

Auto theft: A 1990 Oldsmobile '98 was stolen from the 30 block of Idlewood Road.
Theft: An ATM card was stolen by the victim's daughter at Wedgewood Plaza, 1741 South Raccoon Road.
Theft: $500 was taken from a purse at Bill's Place, 4771 Mahoning Ave.

Theft: Money was stolen from a pop machine in the 5000 block of Mahoning Avenue.
Criminal damaging: A vehicle window was broken in the 5000 block of Pine Shadow Court.
