Ricki D. Pinkins was never involved in the planning of a 1982 robbery that resulted in the death of a Sharon bartender, as a story in Sunday's editions suggested. Authorities said he gave a gun to one of those involved, but had no other involvement in the crime. Pinkins, who admitted supplying the gun used in the crime, was sentenced to life imprisonment but had his sentence changed to life on parole. He will be released Feb. 18 and he plans to live in Farrell, not Sharon, as indicated in Sunday's story.
