Parents announce Wertz-Girdley engagement

XCANFIELD -- Ronald and Alice Wertz, 8415 Herbert Road, are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Shandelle L. Wertz, and Michael Girdley, both of 744 Grandview Place, San Antonio, Texas.
Parents of the future groom are John and Gayle Girdley, 847 Contour Drive, San Antonio.
The couple have chosen April 23 as their wedding day. They will exchange marriage vows during a ceremony planned for 5:30 p.m. at the Heart of Palm Beach Hotel in Palm Beach, Fla., where a reception will follow. Invitations will be issued.
Miss Wertz earned a bachelor's degree in English at Ohio Wesleyan University in Delaware, Ohio.
Mr. Girdley graduated from Lafayette College, Easton, Pa., with a bachelor's degree in computer science.
