LISBON | Village council

Village council handled these matters at its Monday meeting:
Added Mary Ann Gray to council, filling the remaining two years on the term of Mike Lewis, who was elected mayor in November. Ms. Gray, a lifelong village resident, has owned Gray-Kodrich Supply with her sister since 1979. Ms. Gray was selected by council after an executive session at their Jan. 26 meeting.
Agreed to purchase four cell phones with a local unlimited plan for a one-year trial basis for about $119 per month. Council member Stevie Halverstadt abstained on the vote. The phones would be for use by the mayor, village administrator, and two would be mounted into the village firetrucks.
Heard Village Administrator Marvin Carroll report that road crews are trying to patch as many potholes on village roads as possible.
