PGA Royal Caribbean Classic leaders followed by plenty of pursuers

KEY BISCAYNE (AP) -- Wayne Levi shot a 4-under 68 and Don Pooley had a 3-under 69 Saturday to move into a tie for the lead after two rounds of the Royal Caribbean Classic.
Nine players are within two strokes of the lead and 19 are within four shots heading into today's final round of the Champions Tour's first full-field event of the year.
Levi, 2 under after the first round, made four birdies on the back nine to move to 6 under.
Pooley carded his second straight 69 to get to 138.
J.C. Snead, 63, shot a 2-under 70 and was at 139 along with John Bland (67), Bruce Fleisher (70), and Bruce Summerhays (70).
Ed Fiore (69), Dave Stockton (68), and Morris Hatalsky (69), are two strokes back at 4 under.
First-round leader Tom Kite took a double bogey at No. 18 and was three shots off the lead after a 1-over 73.
Trailing by a stroke at the last hole, Kite's ball got stuck in a tree and he took a 7 on the par-5 18th. His over-par round left him at 141 and ended a streak of 16 consecutive rounds of par or better.
Kite, who opened with a 68, is three strokes back at 141.
Bland made the biggest move, finishing with a bogey-free round that included five birdies.
Fleisher, a Miami resident and two-time winner of the event, moved into contention with birdies on two of the last four holes.
He won back-to-back titles in 1990 and 2000.
