Registrations
Below is registration information for pupils entering the following schools or districts in fall 2004.
AUSTINTOWN -- Kindergarten registration and first-grade registration for pupils not already in the district, 9 to 11:30 a.m. and 1 to 2:30 p.m. March 16 and 17, at the school the child will attend. For kindergarten, children must be 5 years old by Sept. 30; they must be 6 by that date for first grade. Required are the child's birth certificate, immunization record, proof of residency, Social Security number and applicable proof of custody. BROOKFIELD -- Kindergarten registration for Brookfield/Masury children, 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. and 1 to 2:30 p.m. March 2 and 3; 4 to 6 p.m. March 3; Stevenson School, 1144 Broadway in Masury. Required are certified copy of birth certificate, Social Security number, proof of immunization, two proofs of residency and current applicable custody paperwork. Call (330) 448-3009.
KENNEDY CATHOLIC HIGH SCHOOL, Hermitage, Pa. -- Ninth-grade registration (for current eighth-graders), 6 to 8:30 p.m. Feb. 23. For more information, call (724) 346-5531.
POLAND -- Kindergarten registration and registration for first-grade pupils not already in the district, 9 a.m. to noon March 6 and 13 at Union Elementary School, 30 Riverside Drive. For kindergarten, children must be 5 years old by Aug. 1; they must be 6 by that date for first grade. Required are originals and a copy of birth certificate, immunization records, two proofs of residency, parent identification and applicable custody papers; the child need not be present. Full-day kindergarten registration will also be taken on these days with a $225 initial payment (toward the $675 total) required.
WILMINGTON AREA, New Wilmington, Pa. -- Kindergarten registration, call the elementary school office at (724) 656-8866, extension 3000, as soon as possible. For those who call, registration forms and screening clinic appointment times will be mailed during the second week of March. Children must be 5 years old before Sept. 1.
