Akron fell behind early and lost at Eastern Michigan.

MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. -- John Edwards and Eric Haut scored 14 points apiece to lead Kent State past Central Michigan 76-61 Saturday.
The Chippewas (3-18, 0-11 Mid-American Conference) held a 35-34 halftime lead, but the Golden Flashes (16-3, 10-1) went on an 18-0 run early in the second half to secure the victory.
Central Michigan, which has lost 11 straight, cut the lead to 10 points with 1:58 remaining on a pair of free throws by Kevin Nelson, but the Golden Flashes scored five straight points to put the game out of reach.
Jason Edwin added 13 points and seven rebounds for Kent, while DeAndre Haynes scored 12 points and had nine rebounds.
E. Michigan 77, Akron 54
YPSILANTI, Mich. -- James Jackson scored 25 points to lead four players in double figures and lift Eastern Michigan to a win over Akron.
Jackson made 10-of-12 shots from the field and scored 16 of his points in the first half as Eastern Michigan (9-10, 4-7 Mid-American) took a 39-23 halftime lead. The Eagles led by as many as 33 points in the second half on their way to winning for the third time in four games.
Dru Joyce III scored 17 points for Akron (10-10, 4-8), which lost for the fourth time in five games. Derrick Tarver added 12 points while Romeo Travis chipped in 10 for the Zips.
W. Michigan 88, Bowling Green 73
KALAMAZOO, Mich. -- Western Michigan got 25 points from Mike Williams and won its 15th consecutive home game.
Anthony Kann added 20 points and a game-high eight rebounds for the Broncos (17-2, 10-1 MAC), who never trailed and led by as many as 24 points.
Ron Lewis led the Falcons (9-12, 5-6) with 26 points, including 21 in the second half. Kevin Netter added 17 points for Bowling Green and John Reimold (Kennedy Catholic) had 12.
Miami 61, Toledo 57
OXFORD -- William Hatcher hit a 3-pointer with 1:14 remaining to give Miami the lead for good.
Juby Johnson sealed the Redhawks' (12-7, 8-3 MAC) win with two foul shots with seven seconds remaining.
Sammy Villegas' dunk gave the Rockets (15-5, 9-3) a 57-53 lead with 2:33 remaining.
Ohio 88, Ball St. 84, OT
ATHENS -- Jaivon Harris (Alliance) scored 26 points and made his seventh 3-pointer with 43 seconds remaining in overtime, giving Ohio the lead for good.
Harris' basket put the Bobcats (8-13, 5-6 MAC) ahead 85-82. The Cardinals (9-10, 6-5) got within one when Peyton Stovall made two free throws with 29 seconds remaining.
Matt McCollom led the Cardinals with 23 points and Dennis Trammell scored 15.
