KNOXVILLE, Tenn. -- Diana Taurasi scored 18 points as Connecticut won its fifth straight over Tennessee. Ann Strother added 17 points for Connecticut (17-2). Barbara Turner had 16 points and nine rebounds. For Tennessee (18-2), Shanna Zolman and reserve Tye'sha Fluker had 14 points apiece.

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. -- Kelly Mazzante scored 17 of her 24 points in the second half, and Jess Brungo added 15 points and 11 rebounds for Penn State (18-3, 10-0 Big Ten), which extended its winning streak to 11 games. Indiana (10-11, 3-7) lost its fourth straight game. The Hoosiers were led by Leah Enterline with 14 points.

ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- Shereka Wright scored 22 points, and Purdue shot 55 percent while extending its winning streak to nine games. The Boilermakers (18-2, 8-1 Big Ten) made 15-of-16 free throws, including 8-of-9 by Wright. Stephenie Gandy scored 18 points and Jennifer Smith 17 for Michigan (10-13, 3-7), which lost its fourth straight.

TUCSON, Ariz. -- Shawntinice Polk had 21 points and a career-high 19 rebounds to help Arizona to its 24th win in a row at McKale Center. Arizona (17-5, 9-2 Pac-10) took a 13-point lead with 14:37 remaining and made 17-of-18 free throws from that point. Dee-Dee Wheeler added 19 points and Natalie Jones 17 for the Wildcats. Stanford (17-4, 10-2) was led by Nicole Powell with 22 points. Kelly Suminski added 19.

FRESNO, Calif. -- Trina Frierson had 22 points and Amisha Carter 21 added 21 to pace Louisiana Tech (16-2, 9-1 Western Athletic Conference) to its eighth consecutive victory. Arrita Lane led Fresno State (7-13, 1-9) with 11 points before leaving with an ankle injury. Mindy Clark added 10 points and 13 rebounds.

CLEMSON, S.C. -- Ivory Latta scored 15 points and North Carolina (18-3, 8-2 Atlantic Coast Conference) took command by hitting 10 of its first 15 shots. Amanda White had nine points and seven rebounds for Clemson (15-6, 5-5), who shot just 25.9 percent. Maggie Slosser of Poland finished with five points for the Tigers.

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. -- Doneeka Hodges and Scholanda Hoston scored 25 points apiece for LSU. (18-3, 6-1 Southeastern Conference). Seimone Augustus added 21 points for LSU and Temeka Johnson had 20. Natasha Gamble led Alabama (10-11, 2-6) with 21 points.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- Sherill Baker scored 24 points and Janese Hardrick scored 20 for Georgia (16-5, 5-3 SEC). Carla Thomas had a career-high 24 points for Vanderbilt (16-5, 4-4).

EAST LANSING, Mich. -- Kelli Roehrig had a season-high 19 points for Michigan State. Victoria Lucas-Perry had 11 points and Patrice McKinney and Lindsay Bowen 10 apiece for the Spartans (17-4, 7-3 Big Ten). Ashley Josephson had 17 points for Wisconsin (8-12, 2-8), the 10th team to score fewer than 50 points this season against the Spartans.

IOWA CITY, Iowa -- Caity Matter led six Ohio State players in double figures with 24 points and the Buckeyes (13-7, 5-4 Big Ten) shot 67 percent in the second half. Jamie Cavey scored 33 points for Iowa (12-8, 6-3), while Johanna Solverson added 17 points and 12 rebounds. Kim Wilburn scored 16 points, Brandie Hoskins had 15, Michelle Munoz 12, LaToya Turner 11 and Jessica Davenport 10 for the Buckeyes.
