XHONOLULU -- Kawaikui Beach Park was the setting at 2 p.m. Jan. 3 for the wedding of Priscilla Lynne Winder and Rex E. Baumberger Jr., both of 802-A Shorewinds Drive, Fort Pierce, Fla.
The marriage was solemnized by the Rev. Juan C. Schultz, and a reception was held in honor of the couple at Kahala Mandarin Oriental Hotel.
Parents of the bride are David Winder, 267 Wyckoff Ave., Walwick, N.J., and April Winder, Aventura, Fla.
The groom's parents are Joan L. Markulin, 152 S. Lakeview Ave., Youngstown, and Rex E. Baumberger, Pompano Beach, Fla.
After a honeymoon on the Hawaiian island of Oahu, the couple live in Fort Pierce.
The white chiffon gown worn by the bride was embellished with beaded Venise lace and featured an empire-style bodice and long flowing sleeves.
The bride, who is retaining her maiden name, is a research chemist with Harbor Branch Oceanographic Institute in Fort Pierce. She graduated from Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton, Fla., with bachelor's degrees in biology and chemistry.
The groom, who is also known as "Chip," is a coral culture technician with Oceans, Reefs and Aquariums Position in Fort Pierce. He graduated from Florida Atlantic with a bachelor's degree in marine biology. He served with the U.S. Navy from 1992 to 1996.
