MEMPHIS, Tenn. -- Rodney Carney scored 19 points and keyed a second-half rally, helping Memphis upset No. 6 Louisville 62-58 Wednesday night.
The Cardinals lost their second in a row after winning 16 straight. Louisville (16-3, 6-2 Conference USA) played without injured starters Francisco Garcia and Taquan Dean and reserve Nouha Diakite.
Memphis (15-4, 6-2) overcame a nine-point deficit in the second half and won its sixth in a row.
Larry O'Bannon led Louisville with 26 points. Sean Banks scored 14 for Memphis, while Antonio Burks added 13.

PITTSBURGH -- Chris Taft scored 15 points to help Pittsburgh to a school-record 17th home win of the season.
The Panthers (21-1, 7-1 Big East) have won 39 consecutive home games. Jaron Brown had 13 points and Chevon Troutman scored 11.
Daryll Hill led the Red Storm (5-14, 0-8) with 16 points and Elijah Ingram added 11.

Justin Gray scored 15 of his 17 points in the first half to lead the Demon Deacons (13-5, 4-4), who have lost five of seven since starting the season 11-0.

BLACKSBURG, Va. -- Bryant Matthews scored 23 points and Coleman Collins added 21 to help Virginia Tech (9-10, 2-6 Big East) snap a five-game losing streak.
Providence (14-5, 5-3) committed 21 fouls and 19 turnovers. Ryan Gomes scored 18 points and Sheiku Kabba added 13 for the Friars.

COLUMBIA, S.C. -- South Carolina's (19-3, 6-2 SEC) Josh Gonner scored 22 points and Kerbrell Brown added 16, including a 3-pointer with 21.1 seconds remaining that sent the game into overtime. Brown was 6-for-8, including 4-for-5 on 3-pointers.
