Celebration held to mark Naples 50th anniversary

XAUSTINTOWN -- Mr. and Mrs. Victor J. Naples of Austintown celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary during a party held Feb. 7 at The Georgetown in Boardman.
Hosts for the event were the couple's children and their spouses, Jim and Debbie Calcagni of Canfield, Dr. Robert and Donna Naples of Warren, John Naples of Youngstown, and Rick and Karen Ames of Cortland.
Mr. Naples and the former Anna Mae Coyle were united in marriage Feb. 6, 1954, at St. Dominic Church in Youngstown.
Mr. Naples served four years with the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War. He retired in 1980 as director of pupil personnel with the Youngstown City School District.
Mrs. Naples, a homemaker, had worked for Ohio Bell Telephone Co.
The couple are members of St. Joseph Church and have eight grandchildren.
