NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) -- Brett Hull, Brendan Shanahan and Kirk Maltby each scored goals, and Detroit snapped Nashville's 11-game home unbeaten streak.
Pavel Datsyuk added an empty-netter with 13.5 seconds remaining for his 25th goal this season.
Nashville hadn't lost at home since a 2-1 overtime defeat against Vancouver on Dec. 16. The streak had tied the franchise high.
Wyatt Smith scored in the second for Nashville. It was the Predators' 10 short-handed goal this season, a franchise record.
