Jan. 26
Theft: Police arrested a 41-year-old Canfield man on a charge of theft by deception after an employee at Monro Muffler Brake, 210 Boardman-Canfield Road, alleged the man received a car motor by fraudulent means.
Theft: An employee at Rondinelli Tuxedo Rental, 845 Boardman-Poland Road, reported 21 tuxedos, worth $1,126, were delivered but not paid for.
Theft: A 17-year-old Youngstown boy was charged with theft after two pairs of jeans were stolen from Kaufmann's in the Southern Park Mall.
Domestic violence: A 19-year-old man was arrested at his Meadowbrook Avenue residence on charges of domestic violence and menacing. A neighbor said he witnessed the man hitting his girlfriend and alleged being threatened.
Arrest: A 34-year-old Youngstown woman was arrested at the Southern Park Mall on charges of disorderly conduct, criminal trespass and menacing after an employee at Kid's Foot Locker reported an angry customer threatened her with physical harm and refused to leave the store.
Burglary: Someone entered a garage in the 5600 block of Loretta Drive and removed a $500 snow blower.
Theft: Police arrested a 22-year-old Struthers man on a theft charge after nine DVDs valued at $134 were stolen from Wal-Mart, 1300 Doral Drive. He also was charged with obstructing official business after officers say he provided false information about his identity.

Theft: A 37-year-old New Springfield man was arrested near Market Street and Midlothian Boulevard on a warrant charging him with theft after several boxes of cigars were stolen from Giant Eagle, 476 Boardman-Canfield Road.
Theft, criminal damage: Someone damaged a vehicle's dashboard and broke its passenger-side window on Boardman-Poland Road before removing an in-dash compact-disc/stereo system and 250 CDs.
Arrest: A 65-year-old Youngstown man was arrested at the Southern Park Mall on a charge of public indecency after a woman alleged he exposed himself while she was in the Giant Eagle parking lot, 476 Boardman-Canfield Road.
Theft: Police arrested a 27-year-old Youngstown man on a theft charge after three outfits were stolen from J.C. Penney's in the Southern Park Mall.
Criminal damage: A Brookwood Avenue man reported $200 in damage to his car after its rear window was broken.
Criminal damage: An employee at Superior Automotive Service Center, 439 Boardman-Poland Road, noticed someone had cut some phone lines.
Theft: A woman in the 100 block of Shields Road reported a $150 AM-FM/CD player stolen from her Jeep.
Assault: An employee at Video Warehouse, 105 Boardman-Canfield Road, reported a customer assaulted him.
Theft: Someone removed several pieces of mail from a mailbox in the 600 block of Chestnut Drive.
Theft: A Youngstown boy, 16, faced a theft charge after three sports jerseys were stolen from Kohl's, 383 Boardman-Poland Road.

Theft: A 37-year-old man was arrested at his Knollwood Avenue residence on warrants charging him with two counts of theft after three to four boxes of shoes were taken from Shoe Carnival, 550 Boardman-Poland Road.
Theft: Someone took a $500 airbag from a truck at Country Auto Sales, 6410 South Ave.
Arrest: An 18-year-old Youngstown man was arrested at Target, 417 Boardman-Poland Road, on charges of theft and receiving stolen property.
Criminal mischief: A Lowellville man discovered his company vehicle's driver's-side tire slashed while the car was in the 100 block of Shields Road.
Burglary: Someone broke into a residence in the 5100 block of Friendship Avenue through a side door window and stole a gold bracelet, four gold earrings and a gold necklace.
Theft: An employee at Brink's Inc., 6971 Southern Blvd., reported an undetermined amount of money missing.
Burglary: Someone kicked in a door to a residence in the 50 block of Shields Road and stole a gallon of joint compound and a drywall knife.
Theft: Police arrested a 25-year-old woman and a 31-year-old man, both from Girard, on theft charges after nine DVDs, a can of smokeless tobacco and a pack of cigarettes were stolen from Wal-Mart.

Theft: Someone took a $500 fur coat and a wristwatch from Second Fiddle Too, 6955 Market St.
Attempted burglary: Someone damaged a door and its frame at a residence in the 6000 block of Applecrest Court before trying to break in.
Theft: A $30 DVD and a videocassette tape were stolen from Movie Gallery, 6132 Market St.
Theft: Police charged a 46-year-old Youngstown man with theft after 13 cans of baby formula were stolen from Wal-Mart.
Theft: Police arrested a 40-year-old Youngstown man on a theft charge after a $63.82 digital camera was stolen from Wal-Mart.
Theft: A 40-year-old Youngstown man was charged with theft after 12 cans of baby formula were removed from Wal-Mart.
Jan. 30
Theft, criminal damage: A man in the 7300 block of West Boulevard reported his car's driver's-side window broken, and a $200 CD player, an $80 tool, a pager, a briefcase and about 100 CDs stolen.
Theft: A woman in the 100 block of Creston Drive reported a $3,000 snowplow stolen from a residence in the 7300 block of Bonnie Place.
Theft: An East Palestine woman reported her cellular phone missing while she was at the Southern Park Mall.
Theft, criminal damage: A vehicle in the 7400 block of West Boulevard was broken into, and 20 CDs, a $100 CD player, three duffel bags, a sleeping bag and numerous other items were removed.
Criminal mischief: A Struthers man discovered his vehicle's driver's-side window had been shattered while he ate at Perkins Family Restaurant, 804 Boardman-Poland Road. Damage was estimated at $300.
Arrest: An 18-year-old Youngstown man was arrested at Youngstown State University on a charge of forgery. An employee at First Place Bank, 3900 Market St., reported $5,861 worth of bad checks were passed in the drive-through.
Theft: Police charged two Youngstown women, 25 and 27, with theft after five videocassette tapes were stolen from Wal-Mart.
Arrest: A 55-year-old Boardman man was held on two counts of aggravated menacing after several employees at Miller Rod & amp; Gun, 5140 Youngstown-Poland Road, reported being the victims of aggravated menacing.
Drugs: A 24-year-old East Lucius Avenue man was arrested at his home on a felony warrant charging him with two counts of trafficking in cocaine.

Arrest: A 26-year-old Struthers woman was arrested during an investigation at the Tower Motel, 5235 Market St. She was charged with obstructing official business and was held on a warrant from Austintown charging her with domestic violence.
Forgery: An employee at Sky Bank discovered two stolen checks totaling $800 were forged and cashed at two Sky Bank locations, 525 E. Midlothian Blvd. and 711 Boardman-Canfield Road. He also reported three checks totaling $550 were cashed at Giant Eagle, 1201 Doral Drive.
Criminal damage: Someone pulled three boards off a fence at Bruno's Restaurant & amp; Catering, 1984 Boardman-Poland Road.
Theft: A woman reported a high school diploma, two children's playsets and an 8-by-10-inch photograph stolen from a storage space she rented at Uncle Bob's Self Storage, 446 Boardman-Canfield Road.
Theft: An employee at Gino's Drive Thru South, 7631 South Ave., reported $29.67 in cash was stolen from a cash register.
Theft: Police arrested a 47-year-old Canfield man on a theft charge after two knives, two DVDs and a toy were stolen from Wal-Mart.
