HUBBARD
Jan. 27
Criminal mischief: A Church Street woman and a man reported someone let the air out of one of his vehicle's tires near her residence.
Criminal damage: A man in the 400 block of Fifth Avenue reported damage to his front window.
Assault: A Mackey Street woman said a man assaulted her at her home.
Theft: A Westview Avenue man reported someone changed the password to gain access to his cellular phone account.
Arrest: Police arrested a Hubbard man on a warrant charging him with burglary.
Jan. 29
Criminal damage: A Bohemia, N.Y., man reported his car's window broken while he was in the 20 block of Rebecca Avenue.
Jan. 31
Domestic violence: After man claimed that his brother assaulted him, police arrested a Dresden Drive man on a domestic-violence charge.
Feb. 2
Criminal damage: An employee at St. Patrick's School, 38 E. Water St., reported damage to a church-owned pickup truck.
LIBERTY
Jan. 27
Attempted fraud: A Lucretia Drive woman told police that, after placing an ad in a local newspaper to sell a snow blower for $600, someone sent her a counterfeit $2,000 cashier's check. The woman refused to take the check and lost no money.
Jan. 28
Vandalism: An employee at King's Den Barber & amp; Styling, 164 1/2 Church Hill-Hubbard Road, reported someone shot a BB at a window, causing about $300 in damage.
Criminal damage, attempted theft: A man reported seeing the former owner of a residence in the 4000 block of Lakewood Circle removing some gutters and aluminum siding from the home.
Jan. 29
Recovered property: Police recovered a 1993 Mercedes Cougar, stolen in Youngstown, in the American Inn parking lot, 1600 Motor Inn Drive.
Jan. 30
Domestic violence: Police arrested a 15-year-old boy at his Girard residence on a domestic-violence charge after a man alleged the boy attempted to strike him several times during an altercation. The boy also was charged with being a delinquent child.
Criminal damage: A man discovered someone shot two windows, causing $1,900 in damage, at a building in the 300 block of Church Hill-Hubbard Road.
Credit-card fraud: A woman in the 600 block of Santa Monica Drive reported someone used her MasterCard account to make about $2,519 worth of fraudulent purchases.
Jan. 31
Theft: A Berlin Center woman reported her wallet containing $220 was stolen from her car parked at the Liberty Plaza, 3551 Belmont Ave.
Feb. 1
Theft: A North Jackson man attending the Liberty Gun Show, 3551 Belmont Ave., returned to his truck and discovered two rifles were missing.
Criminal damage: Nothing was missing from Radio Shack, 3551 Belmont Ave., after someone tossed a rock through a window.
Breaking and entering: An employee at First Class Pizza, 1560 E. Liberty St., discovered the front door had been pried open. A $2,000 dough mixer and $45 in cash from a register were taken.
Criminal damage: A woman reported someone drove by and tossed bricks through several trailer windows in the 30 block of Marla Lane.
Theft, criminal damage: A man and a woman reported someone broke the man's vehicle's passenger-side window in the 4100 block of Logan Gate Road. Two compact-disc players, 25 CDs, a purse, a coat and other items were stolen.
Theft, criminal damage: Someone smashed several car windows in the 4200 block of Logan Gate Road and removed numerous items including two AM-FM/CD players, $1,000 worth of CDs, a book bag and other merchandise.
Feb. 2
Auto theft: A 1987 Honda Prelude was stolen from a driveway in the 4100 block of Logan Gate Road.
Criminal damage: Someone deliberately backed a vehicle over a lawn in the 10 block of Trumbull Court, causing $500 in damage.
GIRARD
Jan. 31
Criminal damage: A woman in the 30 block of East Second Street reported someone slashed her vehicle's rear passenger-side tire.
Feb. 2
Theft: A Taylor Avenue woman discovered $300 missing from her purse when she was at a Belgrade Avenue residence.
Theft: An employee at Movie Gallery, 600 N. State St., alleged a Sharpsville, Pa., man left without paying for several DVDs.
Criminal damage: A woman in the 1000 block of Patricia Avenue said her husband punched a hole in a door to her apartment during an argument.
