KIRALY TOOL AND DIE Sales see 11% increase; more growth expected
YOUNGSTOWN -- Last year, sales at Kiraly Tool and Die topped $560,000, up 11 percent over 2002. That growth is expected to continue with annual sales expected to reach $750,000 within the next two years.
Kiraly Tool and Die, a custom manufacturer of fabrication tooling and machined parts for the aluminum extrusion, steel, plastic and foam industries, also expects to hire one new employee per year.
Much of Kiraly Tool and Die's growth is attributed to the sale of Fen adjustable torque wrenches used in production machinery -- the company manufactures the wrenches -- and the sale of products through the kiralytool.com Web site.
Late this year, some of the company's initial start-up loans will be paid off, freeing up more working capital. A 6,000-square-foot building addition is planned for 2005 along with the purchase of new and used equipment.
k EMPLOYMENT: Eight full time, three part time, an increase of one full-time worker over a year ago.
