Tears in the city as starweeps over final scenes
NEW YORK -- Sarah Jessica Parker broke down after filming the last moments with co-star Cynthia Nixon, reports Ananova.com.
And more tears were likely shed Tuesday when Parker and fellow cast members Kristen Davis and Kim Cattrall were to appear before the cameras for the last time.
Parker, who plays sex columnist Carrie Bradshaw, decided to bring the six-year series to an end last year, after she became pregnant. But she is staying mum about how the series will end.
HBO has filmed several different endings in a bid to prevent the final story from being leaked.
Parker said last month that she had been reduced to tears thinking about filming the final episodes.
"It's scary, but it's the only way to go," she told The New York Post.

Cole recorded the album "Unforgettable, With Love," which digitally combined her voice with that of her late father, jazz great Nat King Cole. The album sold 14 million copies and won a Grammy for record of the year in 1991.
Stewart: Send machines, not people, to space
LONDON -- The captain of the USS Enterprise thinks people should stay on Earth instead of boldly going where no man has gone before, reports The Associated Press.
Patrick Stewart, who plays Captain Jean-Luc Picard on the TV series "Star Trek: The Next Generation," told BBC Online that he thinks interplanetary travel for humans is a bad idea.
"I'm a bit of a wet blanket when it comes to the whole business of space travel," Stewart said.
"I would like to see us get this place right first before we have the arrogance to put significantly flawed civilizations out onto other planets -- even though they may be utterly uninhabited."
