CANFIELD -- Mill Creek MetroParks is seeking public comment on two construction projects scheduled for this year. One is a $1.8 million bridge, to be paid for with federal funds, that would carry the Mahoning Bikeway over Mahoning Avenue in Austintown, thereby keeping bicyclists and pedestrians away from heavy traffic. The other is a $171,815 upgrade of Old Mill Drive in Mill Creek Park. The Ohio Department of Transportation will provide $131,815 for that project, with the park district paying the rest.
